Latvia, Europe. Jūrmala (pronounced yoor-muh-lah) is a long string of townships with Prussian-style villas, each unique in shape and decor. Even during the height of communism, Jūrmala was always a place to 'sea' and be seen.

Seamaster v Geneve query
Well, the first one isn't a Seamaster - it's a generic Seamaster-ish Omega from the early to mid 60's. The second one looks like a redial judging by the shape of the Ω symbol and the SWISS MADE being above the minute/second track instead of at the very bottom of the dial. This is undoubtedly a noob question, but I’ve just realised that I don’t understand what the actual difference is between a vintage Seamaster and a vintage Geneve. I have, and love, two 1970s Geneve watches (165.041/166.041), the first with a 552 movement and the second with a 565 movement.
Case (lugs) of Seamaster is heavily polished. Movement of geneve is in really bad state and caseback also shows sign of polishing. If I had to decide, I’d take the seamaster but personally I would stay away from both.. From 1967, the Geneve logo was used by Omega to designated the more economical watch ranges. Models with both the Seamaster and Geneve logos were in transition from the Seamaster range, until the Seamaster was removed in later years. Thus, co-signed Seamaster Geneve is at least 10x less common or 10x rarer than the Omega Geneve line. Does that sound about right, or if anyone have better insight of data and would like to make the calculations more accurate. If you find this video helpful, can do a one time support on buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/omegaenthusiastplease support this channel on my p.

I recently cleaned and lubricated a 1968-vintage Omega 550 movement (same movement family as your 565) in a Seamaster Deville and it runs within 10 seconds/day (average over a couple of days resting in different positions).could improve upon that if i optimize for my wearing position.
And the Omega Chronostop Seamaster would also be a perfect fit. But my pick for the Seamaster from the 1960s is the Omega Automatic Seamaster 60, also known as the Seamaster 60 Big Crown. It’s a beautiful diver that is characterized by its modestly sized and perfectly wearable 37mm case.
While there are many other types of models within the collection, the OMEGA Seamaster range is most famous for its lineup of dive watches - and there are three distinct OMEGA dive watch models. OMEGA introduced the OMEGA Diver 300M .
Meet the Omega Geneve manual wind Chronometer. First, let’s have a look at the specifications: 33 mm diameter, round, Unicoc (or monocoqe), 18k solid gold case. Inside beats Omega’s caliber 602, based on caliber 601 with an added bonus of being Chronometer certified. Battleground LV and Deadlock LV are essentially the same boring "octagon with expos in-between" map. Replace at least one of them with a map like Cherryville, Deathknell or a completely new map. Imo, Battleground LV is the one that should go.
