I prefer a good well-made deployant (which smoothly overcomes any issues of bulkiness and fit) over a buckle any day, as it is faster, and more importantly, greatly extends the life of the strap, which is especially important for expensive, one-of-kind, custom straps.
And in regards to the actual strap, lately I've been toying with some leather options (though that's for another thread), but most of the time, and certainly whenever I need to get 'down to business', it's the one and only Artem sailcloth strap for the Bathyscaphe. The perfect GADA strap in my book.

The Day-Date 36 with leather is yet another collection of colorful dial and leather combinations, including green, blue, Bordeaux, and chocolate. I am looking for a deployant* clasp for my leather strap. I am trying to get one that will fits comfortably - 16mm clasp. I don't have too many requirements as I've never experienced one before.
