Due to how closely they are priced, I thought that it would make sense to pit them against each other, because they do have some similarities. I’d even throw in the Cartier Santos as a daily driver alternative here. I remember reading a Fratello article pitting the Santos 2823 against the 36mm Explorer, and that daily driver comparison framed the Santos in a new light, at least for me.
